Message T-tops,

Ok.

boost gauge

That's "luxurious" ? What about the fuel gauge? Or steering wheel? Are those luxuries?

Bose stereo (even though most say it sucks) (not to mention both tape and CD), etc.

~97% of production vehicles have stereos.

Even the 2+2 was an option. Those are items left to non-purist sports car.

Again with the "sports-car"? I never asked about that. Please stay on topic.

I didn't say it was a pure-sports car - I asked what made it "luxo."

It can be argued that a weekend true sports car:
- does not need AC, let alone automatic climate control (how many use their AC?)

I live in FL. On the coast. It gets over 100 degrees in the shade at about 100% humidity. My balls are sweating just thinking about it. AC isn't a luxury - it's a requirement.

- does not need a stereo (wouldn't you rather listen to the exhaust?)

Ok? Mopeds come with stereos. I'm not sure what point you are making... are you?

- does not need a back seat (weekend warrior again)

My car doesn't have a back seat.

If we divulge on the meaning of "Z" versus "ZX", we can see the divergence.

If we "divulge on the meaning" - then we are abusing grammar so badly nobody will know what we are talking about.

Good points though?

WAR!!
